San Diego, CA's Underminded was formed in 1999 by Catholic school classmates Nick Martin (vocals) and Matt Johnson (guitar), world Health Organization felt the influence of local bands like Rocket from the Crypt and Drive Like Jehu during their formative years, leading up to 2004's debut album, Hail Unamerican! By then, the quartet was rounded out by bassist Brandon Caldwell and drummer Tanner Wayne, and exhausted the side by side deuce days touring both on their own and as part of the Warped Tour. 2007 power saw the dismissal of their sophomore album, Football team: Eleven, on Uprising Records.
