The Time Set For Las Vegas Reunion Shows

The original members of The Time [ tickets ] will reunite this summer for a series of shows at The Flamingo Las Vegas, according to a press release.Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Morris Day, Jesse Johnson, Jerome Benton, Jelly Bean Johnson and Monte Moir are set to play a limited engagement June 24-July 5 and July 29-Aug. 2 at the hotel/ casino. The members of band, who began rehearsals this week in Los Angeles, were inspired to "get their act together" following their performance at this year's Grammy Awards show. That show marked their first appearance in 20 years.
