Theron set to take to The Road
Charlize Theron is set to star in an adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's bestselling 2006 novel 'The Road'.
Viggo Mortensen will co-star in the movie in which his character who, following a nuclear explosion, undertakes a hellish road trip in order to save his son from both the fallout and cannibals.
Australian John Hillcoat, whose last major job was on 'The Proposition', will direct the film, with shooting due to begin next month.

It will offer her the opportunity to work again with producer Nick Wechsler. The pair last worked together in 2000 on 'The Yards'.
