Former frontman Ray Davies has revealed that he has been talk to his brother Dave and bassist Pete Quaife about devising medicine together over again.
Dave Davies is recovering from a stroke he suffered in 2004 patch Quaife suffers from kidney problems. However Beam of light Davies is still keen to view what would materialise if they worked as a band once more.
He told the Daily Chain armour: "I spoke to Quaife about a month ago and he affectionately wants to make another record with me.
"I think Dave's getting better and [drummer] Paddy [Avory] is still acting. It would be great to fetch back together just now to look what musical ideas we had and what would encounter."
The Kinks final stage performed together in 1996. The band formed in 1963 and released hits such as 'Waterloo Sunset', 'Lola' and 'You In truth Got Me'.
